ScrapCoin
Play-to-earn guide

Play Rust. Get paid in crypto for it.

On ScrapCoin partner servers, every hour you actually play pays you in $SCRAP, a real token on Solana. No sign-up and no wallet needed to start: join a server, play, and your balance grows.

How play-to-earn works in Rust

Rust already has a currency: scrap. It is gone after every wipe. ScrapCoin is scrap that lasts. The server counts the time you spend actually playing and pays it into your in-game balance, which is tied to your Steam account and stays with you through every wipe.

Inside the game it works like money on the server: you can buy from other players or unlock perks, instantly and without fees. Outside the game it is a real token, and you can move it to a wallet that only you control.

Start earning in four steps

  1. Own Rust on Steam. You play with your normal account; that account is where your balance lives.
  2. Join a partner server. Pick one in the partner server list, start Rust, press F1, paste the connect command and press Enter.
  3. Play. Every hour of active play pays 1 cent worth of $SCRAP at the live price. AFK time does not count. Type /shop to see your balance.
  4. Spend it or withdraw it. Use it in the player market and the server store, or link a free Phantom wallet in the store and withdraw it to the blockchain.

What you can do with what you earn

  • Spend it on gear from other players, VIP or server perks, in game with /shop or in the web store.
  • Sell to other players. Selling loot in the player market earns you more than playtime alone. A 10% market fee goes to the treasury that pays the rewards.
  • Keep it. Your balance survives every wipe, so your progress finally lasts.
  • Withdraw it to any Solana wallet you link, sent automatically in about a minute, within daily limits. You can deposit it back any time.

How much can you earn?

Playtime pays 1 cent worth of $SCRAP per active hour, at the live price when it is paid. It is a reward for playing the game you already play, not a job or an income. Trading with other players is how you earn more.

The rewards come from a fixed share of the supply that is released bit by bit over about five years, so payouts can never exceed the published schedule. The whitepaper explains the numbers and the transparency page shows every wallet live.

Staying safe

  • You never need to pay anything or give anyone your wallet's recovery phrase to earn. Nobody from ScrapCoin will ever ask for it.
  • The only real $SCRAP has the contract address B9vJdtXfwRXy6djBtsNRiERFFPxkejYaq4tQG6WR8A4C. Always paste it; never pick a coin by name.
  • $SCRAP is a game currency, not an investment. Its value can go up or down.

No. ScrapCoin is a game currency. Its value can go up or down, so only use what you are comfortable with.
